Later on the year, she landed with a top designer position for Paraphernalia, a clothing boutique housed by the hottest young London designers. Betsy Johnson is a true person that has built her career on nonconformity and I applaud her for that. Although her apparel is completely overpriced at least you know your not paying for something you’ll see at Marshal’s 80 dollars cheaper a week after you buy hers. Her pieces are one of a kind. She designs what she wants and now what the people want, and surprisingly she has been financially stable with that out uncommon way of working.
ReplyDeleteShe proves that everyone doesn't need to be the same. And with the obnoxious pricing on the majority of her clothing having just one item would make you and individual. I would love to have some of her stuff, just cause I know I would not be imitated.
ReplyDeleteI love Betsy Johnson! She is unique has and her clothes have a hippy vibe to them. Her success is due to the fact that she doesn't follow the weird rules they have for fashion designing. Being different allowed her to be the great designer she is today. Today many people buy her dresses, jewelry, purses, etc. Her bright colors and designs are fun and put people in a good mood when wearing them. Her designs are expensive but when you purchase apparel or accessories from her you know you probably won't find anything like in another store.
ReplyDeleteBetsy Johnson is one of my favorite brands! I love the clothes, jewelery, shoes, purse, bags,and more purses that she designs. But, you pay a pretty penny for her unique fashion foward designs. I personally wait for them to get on sale so i can snatch a few things because i adore her approach to fashion.
ReplyDeleteBetsey Johnson is without a doubt one of the most talented designers in history. She has literally taken her mind and her imagination and put them into our everyday things. Theres nothing similiar to a betsey johnson purse, because its so unique and literally it is her mind put on a purse. I love her very much, an artist.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with everyone, I love Betsy Johnson! Her store is one of the many reasons I go to Aventura Mall haha..I love everything about her and her fashion, mostly those big beautiful bags that you see everywhere! I just melt:)
ReplyDeleteI love Betsey's eclectic mixes of fabrics and various other materials such as rhinestones and ribbons. Everything she has is so fun, funky and you can't forget cute. She can even make a lobster look cute on a necklace!
